Pasuruan – UPT Puskesmas Kebonagung mulai melakukan Sub Pekan Imunisasi Nasional (PIN) Polio putaran kedua yang berlangsung di tiga Kelurahan yaitu Kelurahan Purworejo, Kelurahan Kebonagung, Kelurahan Purutrejo.
SUB PIN putaran dua ini merupakan kelanjutan dari Sub PIN putaran pertama yang telah dilaksanakan pada 15-20 Januari 2024.
Sasaran imunisasi tambahan adalah anak usia 0 sampai 7 tahun dengan target cakupan imunisasi 95 persen. Imunisasi Sub PIN Polio dilakukan di posyandu, paud, TK, dan Sekolah Dasar.
Tenaga kesehatan tetap melakukan sweeping bekerja sama kader dan guru sekolah untuk sasaran yang belum mendapatkan imunisasi karena sedang sakit maupun pergi sehingga nantinya target cakupan imunisasi bisa tercapai.
Sub PIN Polio ini diberikan kepada anak tanpa memandang status imunisasi sebelumnya. Imunisasi diberikan secara oral sebanyak dua tetes kepada setiap anak.
Seperti yang diketahui, Sub PIN Polio merupakan program imunisasi tambahan yang dilakukan oleh Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes) RI untuk menanggulangi KLB polio yang terjadi di beberapa daerah di Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Timur.
